Banquet event order (BEO) template

One sheet per event. Guest counts, timing, menu version, room setup, and sign-off, so kitchen and floor work from the same packet.

No email required. PDF is for print. Word is for filling in.

Same template in Polish: PDFWord

What is on the sheet

Fill the blanks before service. When the menu changes, raise the menu version and print a new revision.

  1. Event header — name, date, times, room, and BEO revision
  2. Contacts — client, on-site contact, event manager, kitchen lead, floor captain
  3. Guest counts — expected, finalized, and prep
  4. Timing — arrival through the end of service, with an owner for each step
  5. Menu — version, date and time, dishes, quantities, allergens
  6. Room and setup — layout, covers, AV, decor, cloakroom, deliveries
  7. Special requests and restrictions
  8. Internal notes that stay off the guest copy
  9. Sign-off — event manager, kitchen, and floor

How to use it

  1. Fill guest counts and timing first.
  2. Lock the menu, write the menu version and date, then print for the kitchen.
  3. When anything changes, issue a new revision and mark the old prints obsolete.
