Staff see the event they are working — not the whole office file

Owners invite people into billed seats. Staff open an event when they have a shift or a task. There is no chat in the product. A shared timeline is how you show the plan to people who should not log in.

Empty for now. Split: office dashboard vs staff dashboard for the same event. Staff side: menu without prices, tasks assigned to them. No client tab. Desktop, light UI.

What this is for

Team is how kitchen and floor log in. They open an event when they have a shift or a task on it. They need the menu and the timing. They should not get the client file, the notes, or the totals.

How you use it

  • Invite into a seat, not into a thread

The owner invites people into billed seats. Owners and managers stay on the office dashboard. Staff get a staff login. Staff cannot create events.

  • Enter the event from a shift or a task

Staff see an event if they are on the schedule for it or have a board task on it. No shift and no task means they do not enter that booking.

  • Share the timeline when a login is too much

An unlisted URL shows the run-of-show to people who should not have a seat. That is a view of the plan, not a comment thread.

Empty for now. Staff home: events they can enter because of a shift or a task. Coworkers listed as name and job title. No money, no client, no documents.

What staff actually see

  • Menu, timeline, their own tasks, coworkers by name

Staff see the menu and timeline without prices, their own tasks, and coworkers as name plus job title.

  • A login that is not the office

The staff dashboard is a scoped view of the event they were assigned to — not a second office account.

What staff never see
The client record, documents, notes, and amounts — menu prices, service prices, event totals, cost journal. Staff cannot create events. There is no chat. Timeline share is for people without a login.
